Unlearning / Bouvard and Pécuchet, chapter V project by Margot Criseo

Like every year, the Frac is a partner of the Saison Graphique, a festival dedicated to graphic design and organized by the École supérieure d'Art de Design du Havre et de Rouen (ESADHaR). The graphic designer Margot Criseo will exhibit her work on Bouvard and Pécuchet, in reference to the statement in chapter 4 of Flaubert's book. This work stages a cross-reading of the text of the historian Arlette Farge Des Historiens Bouvard et Pécuchet and the said chapter through a falsely didactic graphic bias that confronts illustration and comics.
