L’événement présenté est soumis à l'évolution de la situation sanitaire liée à la pandémie de Covid-19.

Du Monday 16 August 2021
Au Friday 24 September 2021

On October 22, 1849, Gustave Flaubert left the family home in Croisset for a trip to the Orient that would last more than a year and a half. This trip will be a decisive experience; it is while returning from the East, in 1851, that he decides to enter literature... His friend, Maxime Du Camp, led him on the route taken by Chateaubriand and Lamartine. If Maxime takes pictures of the pyramids with his camera, Gustave dreams and writes notes... The idea of this contest is therefore double: photographic and literary. Like Du Camp and Flaubert, the participants in pairs will be one photographer and the other writer, the objective being to find "hidden pyramids" in the landscape, and to tell your intrepid journey.

Launching on Friday, September 10th. Friday, September 10th to 24th: exhibition at 108 of Maxime Du Camp's photos and Gustave Flaubert's travel notes: On social networks and press. From 10 am to 5 pm.

Saturday, September 18th : From 10am to 5pm : handing in of the photos at the 108 by the participants.
