On the occasion of the night of the museums, the Flaubert and History of Medicine museum in Rouen offers guided tours of the exhibition and the permanent collections lasting 1h. «In the privacy of Flaubert» is a biographical and iconographic exhibition that aims to make more familiar the image and the family universe of the writer. Tours available at 8 pm and 10 pm. Although very reluctant to reveal his own portrait and opposed to any illustration of his work, Gustave Flaubert lived among the many portraits of members of his family. Portraits drawn, painted, sculpted and funerary effigies constitute a varied corpus that deserves to be collected and exhibited.
