In the house of the guardian of the pavilion of Flaubert in Croisset, the Rouen network of the new libraries of the City of Rouen and Métropole proposes the reconstitution in 3D of the house of Flaubert, destroyed in 1881, accompanied by an exhibition explaining the process of scientific elaboration of the reconstitution. The re-enactment will allow users to navigate the house in digital immersion. Particular attention will be paid to Flaubert’s work cabinet, whose interior has been reconstructed from several sources. The artistic work will take into account the distinction between known and attested elements by the alleged sources and elements.
